FusionStorm and Synoptek Form Alliance to Deliver Managed Services

San Francisco-based FusionStorm, an award-winning IT solution provider with national U.S. coverage and global distribution capabilities, has entered into a strategic alliance with Synoptek, a cloud solutions and managed IT services firm based in Irvine, California.

The two companies will partner to form a new entity to meet the growing worldwide demand for cloud “as-a-service” technology and powerful hosted solutions to support on-premise systems.

 

 

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. FusionStorm will have a significant equity stake in the new entity, which will operate under the Synoptek brand, and FusionStorm CEO Dan Serpico will hold a board seat on the Synoptek board.

 

 

FusionStorm and Synoptek were counseled in the transaction by martinwolf.
